Project
Timeline

Project On-Boarding
C&H and client align on timeline, budget, communication preferences, design management platform and project goals.
Site Visit & Measure
C&H visit the project site and measure the current structure to ensure design integrity and review project timeline. This typically takes 1-2 hours to complete.
Preliminary Spacial Layout
Delivered roughly 2 weeks after project kick-off, the preliminary spatial layout is intended to be a robust first pass at the proposed layout modifications.
Layout Modifications & CD's
The spatial layout is reworked and finalized, approximately 3 weeks after the initial layout review. Construction documents are completed and used by client to obtain contractor bids.
Finish Selection
Kick-Off
C&H and clients meet in person with trusted trade partners to gain general design direction, review and discuss various finish options and obtain initial samples. This typically occurs 1 week post-drawing submittal.
Finish Selection & Samples
Using the Houzz platform, C&H will create an online vision board and recommend finishes for consideration. Once approved, C&H will order and deliver samples of selections to ensure the look and feel are as anticipated. This process takes approximately 4 weeks.
Value Engineering
As needed, design may be adjusted to accommodate budget restraints after receiving contractor bids.Integrity of design is front of mind for C&H and alternative selections will most often be available for review within 1 week.
Final Deliverables Submitted
All finishes have been reviewed and
approved by client, and a completed Finish Schedule is submitted roughly 1 week post-value engineering. Purchasing and construction can now begin.
Pre-Construction Meeting
For projects heading straight into construction, C&H will meet with the selected contractor to review the design and resolve any immediately identified areas of concern.
